Solano Property Managers To Compete Against Solano County Fairgrounds Development?

Will the Solano County Fairgrounds Development create more competition against existing Solano businesses?  All types of companies may be coming into the Solano County Fairgrounds.  While Vallejo needs economic help, how will the Solano Board of Supervisors protect local Solano businesses from out of county companies coming in?

The Solano County Fairgrounds Development has been working on a redevelopment plan for the old fairgrounds in Vallejo, California. Solano County Fairgrounds may become a mixed-use Solano development comprising perhaps 625,000 square feet of retail space, plus other Solano commercial property uses.

Lot’s of Solano County office space rentals will also be coming online when there’s already a glut of Solano County office space for rent. For example a completely furnished office space for rent with internet, conference rooms, receptionist, janitor, kitchen, utilities and more start at only $375/mo at www.neari80.com. There is too much Solano office space in Benicia, Fairfield, Suisun, Vacaville, Vallejo, plus next door Napa County and Contra Costa County. So commercial real estate landlords and property managers are worried about a worsening glut.

It’s a delicate balance. Solano County Fairgrounds planning and development is a very multi-faceted program that will continue to evolve, hopefully for the best.
