American Canyon is looking to change its rent control. Solano property managers and owners are not happy with the idea of having Solano rent control. Will rent control winds from American Canyon, Concord, Berkeley, San Francisco and other nearby cities blow into Solano County?
The proposed American Canyon rent stabilization ordinance is based on Concord rent control laws.
American Canyon's rent control proposed ordinance is 31 pages. American Canyon tenants aren't happy with the ordinance as they believe it will cause rent price increases faster than it would happen otherwise.
